In rod driven artificial lift systems, cyclic loading can lead to crack propagation and fatigue failure over time. Crack initiation can occur on jointed or continuous sucker rod surfaces due to corrosion and surface stress risers.
Coated Endless Rod™ products are designed to combat these failure mechanisms by protecting the rod surface and reducing the impact of corrosive environments.
KeBond
Enhanced corrosion protection.
Lifting Solutions’ KeBond™ technology represents the next generation of Coated Endless Rod. KeBond is specifically engineered to withstand hotter and deeper wells and is built using a bonded composite design that incorporates an engineered thermoplastic and polyketone outer coating.
Bonded directly to the bare rod, KeBond delivers enhanced performance in corrosive progressing cavity pump (PCP) and reciprocating rod pump (RRP) applications.
Proven performance
Lifting Solutions has conducted laboratory testing, durability evaluations, and field trials to assess KeBond performance. Results from these evaluations have demonstrated KeBond as a high‑performing coated rod solution designed to protect against corrosion and wear.
Field trials continue to expand, including limited commercialization in Canada and early‑stage field trials in the United States and other international locations.
